Break Free from Old Patterns
Feeling stuck in the same relational loops? Craving deeper, safer connections but unsure why the same fears or walls keep showing up? You're not broken — your past is simply speaking loudly in the present. Together, we can gently uncover and heal those early wounds, and help you show up in relationships with more ease, trust, and authenticity.
Does This Sound Like You?
You feel stuck or repeat patterns in relationships (e.g., chasing closeness then pulling away, or avoiding vulnerability altogether) even when you know better.
You want to be "better" at relationships — more present, less reactive — but old hurts get triggered and derail things.
Past experiences (childhood, family dynamics, or early caregivers) left you with questions like "Why do I feel unworthy of consistent love?" or "Why does intimacy feel unsafe?"
You're tired of overthinking every interaction, feeling anxious about abandonment, or shutting down when things get close.
Deep down, you long to understand how your attachment style and wounds shape your choices now — so you can finally choose differently.

Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I'm Lea — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Zionsville, Carmel and Fishers, IN.
I am deeply passionate about attachment theory, relational trauma, and trauma-informed care. I specialize in helping thoughtful, motivated adults like you — people who are self-aware, reflective, and truly want deeper, safer relationships — but find themselves repeating old patterns rooted in past wounds and complex trauma.

Frequently asked questions
How long does individual therapy take?
It varies — many see meaningful shifts in 3–6 months of weekly work, with deeper pattern changes unfolding over 9–18 months or longer. We decide together based on your goals.
What if I don't know my attachment style yet?
That's common and okay! We'll explore it together through gentle conversation and reflection — no pressure to label right away.
What are your fees?
Individual sessions are 250$/60 minutes for the intake session and $200/50 minutes for follow-up sessions. I offer limited sliding scale spots when available. We can discuss this during our free consultation.
Do you take insurance or provide superbills for PPO/out-of-network reimbursement?
I do not bill insurance directly (sessions are self-pay/cash-pay). As an out-of-network provider, I work with PPO plans and provide monthly superbills (detailed statements) for you to submit for reimbursement. This approach keeps your care fully private—no session notes or treatment plans are shared with insurance—and gives us maximum flexibility. I recommend checking your plan’s out-of-network mental health/telehealth benefits or calling your insurer.
Individual vs. couples/family therapy?
This page is for one-on-one work focused on your personal patterns and past. If relational issues involve a partner or family, we can discuss adding couples(attach to couple page)/family(direct to family page) sessions or referring.
Is therapy in-person or virtual?
Currently, I am only providing telehealth services.
What if I'm nervous about starting?
Most people feel that way at first. Our free 15-minute consultation is pressure-free — just a chance to talk and see if it feels like a fit.
Can I book a first session immediately? What should I expect from it?
Yes, you can book your free 15-minute initial consultation or your first 50-minute session here (direct to an out source).
In the first full 50 minute session, we’ll start by hearing your story at your pace: what brings you here, any patterns or challenges in relationships, and your goals. It’s a gentle space to build trust and begin exploring how past experiences might be showing up now. Many clients leave feeling lighter and more understood.

Couples
Therapy
If patterns from your past are showing up in your partnership — arguments that loop, emotional distance, difficulty feeling truly safe together, or challenges such as a physical/emotional affair, the arrival of a new baby, external stress or more — couples therapy offers a gentle, structured space to rebuild trust and intimacy.
Together, we explore attachment patterns, improve communication, and develop new ways to navigate both long-standing dynamics and current stressors as a team.

Family
Therapy
When family dynamics feel tense, stuck, or out of balance — whether it's parent-child conflicts, sibling issues, blended family challenges or more— family therapy helps everyone feel heard and understood.
Drawing on attachment and systems perspectives, we work to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and foster stronger, more supportive connections across the family.

Relationship
Support
Virtual psychoeducational support for adults anywhere inside and outside the U.S. Focused purely on understanding your relational patterns, attachment style, and how past experiences influence your current relationships today.
Ideal for pre-marital/pre-engagement prep, co-parenting guidance, divorce guidance or more.

Foster/Adoptive/
Kinship Support
Foster and adoptive children often come from backgrounds that cause escalated or unpredictable behaviors. Parents may feel unsure how to manage them or connect emotionally — that's normal with trauma history.
Together, we learn practical steps using TBRI and attachment principles: building trust, responding with connection first, then correcting the behavior with evidence-based tools.

Discover Your Attachment Style
Curious about how your attachment style shapes your relationships today? This focused, one-time session is a gentle interview-style exploration to identify your style (secure, anxious, avoidant, disorganized), understand its origins, and gain practical insights into patterns and growth opportunities. It's a great starting point or standalone tool for self-awareness.
You don't have to keep repeating the same cycles. Understanding your attachment story is the first step toward showing up differently — in relationships, and with yourself.
I'm here when you're ready. Let's talk.
