one Step Closer!

You've carried this long enough on your own. Whether it's the same argument on repeat, the quiet distance that's grown between you, or old patterns you're finally ready to understand, you don't have to figure out the next step by yourself. Reaching out is often the hardest part, and it's also the part that starts to change everything.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after I submit this form?

Once you reach out, I'll get back to you within 24 hours, through whichever way you prefer, phone, text, or email. If we connect by phone, that call is your free 15-minute consultation. If you reach out by text or email with questions first, I'll respond as soon as I can, and once your questions are answered, we can schedule your consultation whenever you're ready. Either way, there's no pressure and no obligation, just a real conversation to help you figure out your next step.

How soon can I get an appointment?

I typically have new client openings within one to two weeks, and I'll let you know current availability when I reply to your form or during our consult call.

Do you offer in-person or virtual?

I offer virtual/online therapy for people residing in Indiana.

What happens during the free consultation call?

Honestly, it's just a conversation. No pressure, no obligation, no clipboard. It's your chance to get a feel for me and how I work, and my chance to really understand what you're carrying and whether I'm someone who can genuinely help with it.

Can I call or text you directly, or do I have to use the form?

Call me anytime. If you already know you're ready and just want to get on the calendar, that works great. If you're still sorting through questions or feeling unsure, the form tends to work better, mostly because I want to be fully present when we talk, and I can't always promise that in the moment if you catch me between things.

Do you accept insurance?

I don't take insurance directly, working outside of insurance means I don't have to assign a diagnosis to begin, sessions aren't time-limited by a third party, and your records stay more private. For relationship work especially, that flexibility matters. But I can provide what you need to seek out-of-network reimbursement, and we'll walk through exactly what that looks like when we talk. I also hold a few reduced-fee spots for clients who need them, so don't let cost stop you from reaching out.

What are your rates?
  • Individual therapy — Initial session: $250 for 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions: $200 for 50 minutes.
  • Couples therapy — Initial session: $300 for 75 minutes. Follow-up sessions: $250 for 60 minutes.
  • Family therapy — Initial session: $350 for 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions: $300 for 75 minutes.
What if we've tried therapy before and it didn't help?

I hear this a lot, and I get why it's discouraging. Many clients tell me that they reach out hoping for relief, and when it doesn't come, it's exhausting, sometimes even worse than not trying at all. But every therapist brings a different lens, and fit matters more than people realize. That's really what our call is for, figuring out honestly whether what I do is the right match for what you actually need.

Who do you work with?

No matter what stage of life you're in or what kind of family you have, blended, adoptive, going through a divorce, in the middle of some transition, or something else entirely, if what you're really searching for is connection, this is the place for you.

My clients come to me when they feel they had that closeness once and lost it, and they are trying to find their way back. Or when both partners want to be close but don't know how to start bridging the gap. When they feel like they're speaking two different languages, and it keeps turning into the same exhausting fights and arguments. Whatever the situation looks like on the outside, if what's underneath it is the ache of wanting to be closer and not knowing how, that's exactly what I work with.
