Why I Care
Hello, I am Lea, your therapist in Zionsville, Carmel & Fishers, Indiana.
Virtual therapy throughout Indiana.
I spent years working with children who came from really hard places, many of them from orphanages in underdeveloped countries. I saw the pain in their eyes. I saw how deeply they carried the hurt of not having a parent who was there for them, who was emotionally present and attuned.
The work with the children was meaningful… but I noticed something powerful. When the caregivers started showing up, the change in the children was extraordinary. It was like night and day.
That’s when it hit me.
If I truly wanted to create safety for these children, I couldn’t just work with the kids alone. I needed to support the adults because they are the ones who become the safe place for the next generation.
This is why I care so deeply and that’s the work that lights me up : )
What Makes my Approach Different
In most therapy, the focus remains on managing symptoms. But symptoms are rarely the whole story — they are signals, pointing to something deeper.
Anxiety in relationships often grows from hidden attachment insecurity. Emotional outbursts echo old, unhealed wounds. Intimacy struggles whisper of a quiet fear of being truly seen.
As an attachment-based, insight-oriented therapist, I go beneath the surface. I walk with you into the roots of these patterns: where they really began, how they quietly shape your days, and what they’ve been trying to tell you all this time.
Together, we’ll gently go to places no one has ever taken you before; the quiet, hidden parts of your story that have stayed unspoken for so long. And in that space, things will finally start to make sense in a deep, profound way that feels like coming home to yourself.

The Ripple Initiative
My work began with vulnerable children, where I saw that real change starts with healing the adults who care for them. By helping adults uncover traumas, understand relational patterns, and build secure connections, we create safer environments for the next generation—and a ripple of healthier relationships everywhere.
Through The Ripple Initiative, for every 15 sessions completed, I sponsor mental health support for a vulnerable child in a less-privileged country via trusted partners.
Faith & Healing
Many of us carry heavy burdens: past regrets, shame, or the weight of feeling we’ve failed in ways that still echo in our current relationships—with partners, family, friends, or even ourselves. When faith feels rooted more in fear than in grace, that burden can grow heavier, keeping us guarded, distant, or feeling as if we’re unworthy of love.
If this resonates with you, we can gently explore it together—how grace, truth, and redemption intersect with your patterns and wounds. In Christ, we find a freedom and forgiveness that nothing else can offer, freeing us to be fully accepted and loved, and empowering us to show up securely and soar in relationships.
This is always optional and led by you. If faith isn’t part of your path, my approach remains fully attachment-based, insight-oriented, and evidence-informed.
Outside the
Therapy Room
Outside of sessions, my heart is with my husband and our child. We cherish slow family moments—exploring new places, hiking in nature, and just being together. I’m a big animal lover, an avid reader (especially theology and psychoanalysis), a football fan, and someone who could rewatch The Office endlessly. Traveling the world lights me up, too.
I was born and raised in Lebanon, my extended family lives far away, which only deepens how much I value them and reminds me of the importance of staying connected. I can be deeply vulnerable, yet fiercely resilient and direct with truth—always wrapped in care and empathy.
Above all, I believe it’s a true privilege to be a safe place for others and to play even a small part in making the world kinder and more connected.
I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and get to know you.
